Our Story

A boot worth keeping

Millborne Boot Co. started with a simple frustration: good boots had become disposable. Glued soles, corner-cut leather, styles that changed every season so you'd buy again next year. We wanted the opposite — one honest pair you could wear hard, repair, and hand down.

So we went back to the old way of building. We source full-grain leather from tanneries that have been at it for generations, cut it by hand, and Goodyear-welt every pair so the sole can be replaced without touching the upper. A Millborne isn't finished the day it ships — it's finished after years of wear, resoles, and the shape only your own foot can give it.

We keep the line small on purpose. Fewer styles, made properly, means we can stand behind each one. No seasonal churn, no chasing trends — just boots we're proud to put our name on and glad to see come back for a resole a decade later.
